"The Present: The Future of the Past" Exhibition at Doha Fire Station

The "The Present: The Future of the Past" Exhibition is an exhibition offering an exclusive peek into the creative process of talented residents from the Artist in Residence (AIR) programme.

"The Present: The Future of the Past" conveys part of the studio practices and partially blurs the boundaries between the creative process and the result, bridging the distance between the exciting, chaotic, and intimate personal experience in the studio and the artwork displayed in contemporary art galleries.

Featuring the works resulting from the nine-month AIR residencies for the years 2021-2022 (AIR 6) and 2022-2023 (AIR 7), this year's exhibition boasts the creative achievements of 31 artists in residence.
