58 returning travellers test Covid-19 positive in Qatar on Nov 15

Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 215 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 207 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 132,784.

Out of the 215 new cases, 157 are community cases and 58 from travellers returning from abroad.

So far, 234 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 135,785 and there are 2,767 active cases under treatment.

3955 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (7575 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 1,048,828 tests.

There are 20 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total patients in the hospital to 277.

Two patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 37.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.

While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:

- Adherence to physical distancing

- Avoid?close contact with others,?crowded places, and confined closed spaces where other people congregate

- Wearing a face mask

- Washing hands regularly
