Doha, Qatar – April 2022: Doha Festival Qatar's one and only choice for shopping, dining, and entertainment is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a wide range of fun-filled attractions and engaging activities from the 1st of April to the 10th of April.

Since its grand opening in April 2017, Doha Festival City has been a preferred destination for families and friends to gather and enjoy special moments and memories together. Doha Festival City is Qatar’s largest retail space and home to over 450 retail shops and 107 kiosks carrying brands from more than 44 countries, 26 exclusive to Doha Festival City and with the largest dedicated entertainment space in the country.

On this special occasion, visitors and shoppers are invited to interact with three big screens placed in the Centre Court daily from 1st to 10th of April 2022 to take a selfie that will be reflected on the adjacent digital mosaic wall in real time. One by one, the images will fill in the wall to mark the faces of people who make up the valuable community of the mall.

Fans of Doha Festival City can also partake in the memory wall by sending their selfies through Doha Festival City’s social media channels, tagging the mall using the hashtag #5AtFestivalCity. The final mosaic picture will be unveiled in a grand reveal on the 10th of April.

In addition to significant mosaic wall, the digital screens in the Centre Court will also display a video screening Doha Festival City’s journey since its launch up to its present-day growth becoming the One and Only Mall of Choice.

Robert Hall, Doha Festival City’s General Manager, said: “What makes a mall special is its visitors and shoppers. Our customers have always been at the forefront of our success and our growth, and we are delighted to share with them this milestone as we continue our journey to continuously enhance our offerings. With their trust and support, we will maintain our leading position in Qatar and beyond while striving to offer them the most memorable and engaging experiences. We are waiting in anticipation to see the lovely faces of our friends on Doha Festival City’s 5th anniversary memory wall.”

Doha Festival City is launching the very first mall chatbot, Bahja, Qatar’s first interactive digital shopping assistant that is quick to provide customers with information, wherever they are, 24/7!
