Qatar Museums flagship restaurants enable residents to stay home, stay safe, and stay well

Qatar's residents can now enjoy a tasty variety of Arabic dishes and decadent desserts delivered to their home from Jiwan and IDAM, two of Qatar Museum's flagship restaurants by celebrated chef, Alain Ducasse. This service is available through two local food delivery partners – Carriage and Rafeeq – enabling residents to enjoy a contactless service.

Aligning with Qatar's endeavors to combat the current COVID-19 pandemic, Jiwan and IDAM have launched this service to enable residents to enjoy local favourites, sweet treats, and celebratory cakes from the safety and comfort of their homes. Jiwan at Home offers a contemporary Arabic menu that evokes Qatar's rich heritage and culture with a selection of appetising dishes enjoyed during Ramadan. Some of these include harees, madroba, ballalet, hummus, samboussek and sweet desserts such as loogimat and mahalabya. To further enhance the Ramadan experience, Jiwan also offers an assortment of these savory and sweet dishes together in a set meal box.

Meanwhile, IDAM’s delectable menu presents an assortment of indulgent sweet delights. The selection of pastries and desserts includes popular treats such as madeleines, mille-feuille, eclairs, and cakes for those with upcoming celebrations – helping residents to make special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries memorable during these difficult times.

Executive Chef Damien Leroux said, "We are excited to be able to deliver to our guests their beloved dishes right to their homes. We are living in very challenging times right now, but one thing we know for sure is that our commitment to the Alain Ducasse philosophy of perfection as a standard remains the same. We ensure that the safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us with our strict attention to detail and the application of all the necessary health precautions within our preparation process. We are eager to serve our customers the freshest of ingredients that will make this Ramadan a memorable time of year for all."

Phil Lawrie, General Manager, IN-Q Enterprises commented: "In these unprecedented times, we are very proud of Qatar's efforts in combating this pandemic, and even more so with the resilience of its community. We are very pleased to announce that both Jiwan and IDAM have adapted their operations to continue serving the people of Qatar in the safety of their own homes, allowing them to enjoy their favourite cuisine during the Holy Month of Ramadan and beyond. Health and safety is our top priority and we are complying with all the required regulations to ensure this."
