QIB Awarded Best Mobile Initiative and Best Bank for Cash Management Accolades from The Digital Banker Magazine

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading and globally recognized Digital Bank, has been awarded with two prestigious titles at The Digital Banker Magazine’s Middle East & Africa Innovation Awards 2021, winning ‘Best Mobile Initiative in Qatar’ and ‘Best Bank for Cash Management in Qatar’ awards.


This latest recognition for QIB comes following the Bank’s outstanding performance and excellence in providing innovative banking solutions for corporate customers in Qatar. The Bank was awarded the Best Mobile Initiative based on the launch of the QIB Corporate Mobile App, and the structural & features updates of the QIB Corporate Internet Banking portal.


The Best Bank Cash Management recognition also comes following QIB’s introduction of series of new digital cash management solutions for SMEs & large corporations, such as the digital Host-to-Host (H2H) Online Payment Management solution, the Remote Deposit Cheque (RDC) service and the new Corporate Deposit Only Card.

QIB is the first Islamic Bank in Qatar to launch a corporate mobile banking application, offering corporate customers a convenient, trusted, and safe way to fulfill their financial requirements remotely. The QIB Corporate Mobile App also offers QIB’s corporate customers full control of their accounts and instant access to their relationship managers.


The Bank has also introduced a brand new version of its Corporate Internet Banking portal with new additional features related to payments, transfers, cards management and trade finance. The introduction of the new portal has led among others, to achieving a 100% local & International digitization of wages’ payments for all QIB’s corporate customers, and 93% now of all transfers are performed online.


QIB is also the first Islamic Bank in Qatar to launch an integrated Host-to-Host (H2H) Online Payment Management solution for large corporates, in line with its endeavors to automate and accelerate payment management experiences of its corporate customers. The Bank has also introduced a Remote Deposit Cheque (RDC) service as a safe, fast and efficient solution for companies to remotely deposit Cheques from their own offices, in addition to a new Corporate Deposit Only Card that allows corporates to deposit cash or cheques in their accounts with zero human interaction.
