The Katara Traditional Dhow Festival Photography Competition 2025 invites Qatari nationals and residents to capture the beauty, heritage, and maritime traditions of the Katara Dhow Festival. Participants can submit up to six high-definition photos that creatively interpret the festival’s theme, highlighting the dhows, cultural activities, landscapes, and the vibrant atmosphere of Katara Beach. Entries can be submitted digitally via email or delivered on USB drives to the Katara PR & Communication department. The competition seeks to document Qatar’s cultural legacy through photography while encouraging artistic exploration and community engagement. Winners are selected by a specialized jury, with prizes ranging from QAR 3,000 to QAR 15,000 for the top five participants. This competition not only provides an opportunity for amateur and professional photographers to showcase their talent but also promotes appreciation for the country’s maritime heritage. By documenting the festival through unique perspectives, participants contribute to preserving cultural narratives and inspiring future generations to explore Qatar’s traditions.
