KATARA ONE LOFT RACE 2026

The Katara One Loft Race 2026 is a major homing pigeon competition featuring a total prize pool of USD 205,000.

Homing pigeon breeders and enthusiasts wishing to participate are invited to submit their pigeons between June 10th and August 31st, 2026.

Participation is open to breeders and enthusiasts from both inside and outside the State of Qatar.

Participation Conditions:

• Participation is open to all homing pigeon breeders and enthusiasts from inside and outside Qatar
• When a pigeon is delivered, it becomes legally owned by the loft
• Loft management has the right to reject any bird that does not meet health or administrative requirements

Participation Fees:

• Participation fee: USD 300 per pigeon or equivalent in local currency
• Approximate equivalent: QAR 1,091.85 per pigeon
• Entries are accepted only in even numbers
• Individual odd-number entries are not accepted
• 50% of the participation fee is payable upon delivery of participating pigeons
• The remaining 50% must be paid within a maximum of 120 hours, or five days, following completion of the 30 km formal training
• All payments are non-refundable

If the remaining amount is not paid within the specified period, all birds registered under the participant’s name may be deemed the property of Katara One Loft Race without financial or legal obligation on loft management.

Bird Health Requirements:

• All birds must be healthy and free from infectious diseases
• Loft management or the veterinarian may exclude any bird suspected of having a disease that could affect other birds
• Participants are responsible for the health of birds upon delivery

Races and Training:

• All birds undergo the same approved training and racing programme
• Final results are based on the official BENZING OLR system
• Official system results are final and binding

Liability and Risks:

Participants acknowledge that homing pigeon racing involves natural hazards that may result in injury or loss of birds.

Loft management assumes no responsibility for losses caused by:

• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Accidents beyond its control

Awards:

• Total prize money: USD 205,000
• Prizes will be distributed according to official approved schedules announced by the Loft Department

Management Powers:

The management of Katara One Loft Race reserves the right to interpret and apply the participation terms.

Management may amend race schedules or timings when circumstances require changes in order to preserve bird safety and competition integrity.

Registration or delivery of birds constitutes full acceptance of all applicable terms and conditions.
