Local Dates Festival

It is an annual festival of local dates (ratab), it is considered one of the most prominent events in the state of Qatar. It highlights the place of dates in the cultural, heritage and economic life, and visitors get acquainted with dates varieties that are grown in Qatar, as well as farmers get acquainted with modern agricultural methods and exchange experiences to produce the best and finest types of dates, and encourage local production.
