Ajyal Film Festival: Jury Registrations 2024
Registrations for Ajyal Jury Experience are open, and they are now looking for the driving force and heart of the festival—a dedicated jurors.
Ajyal brings together young people aged between 8 and 25 from around the world in a shared spirit of understanding, cultural exchange, and meaningful dialogue. An exploration of the transformative power of film, the festival hosts engaging workshops, compelling screenings, insightful discussions, and opportunities for the jurors to learn from internationally renowned creative talents.

- Watch a compelling selection of short and feature-length films from around the world.
- Vote for your favourite films and help select the Ajyal Competition winners.
- Engage with internationally renowned guests in thought-provoking discussions.
- Participate in workshops and masterclasses that explore the art of filmmaking.
Ajyal Jury is divided into three age-based categories:
- Mohaq (New Moon): Youngest jurors, ages 8 to 12, will engage with a mix of thoughtful short films and four feature films.
- Hilal (Crescent Moon): Jurors aged 13 to 17 will experience four compelling feature films and a selection of meaningful shorts.
- Bader (Full Moon): The programme for jurors aged 18 to 25 features four thought-provoking features and a variety of powerful short films.
If you are between 8 and 25 years old, you can book your place now by paying a one-time fee, as outlined below. But hurry, as places are strictly limited, and registrations close on 3 November.
- Early Bird: 250 QAR (If registered before 21 September)
- Siblings Discounted Fee: 350 QAR
- Standard Fee: 500 QAR
