Full Event Details/Description:

Relish Beethoven at his greatest triumph when Rudolf Buchbinder, among the most revered interpreters of Beethoven in the world, comes back to his second concert in a two-concert special series. The concert, Buchbinder Plays Beethoven Piano Concertos 1 and 5, will be held 31 January 2026 at 7.30 PM and further, at the most famous Katara Opera House, Doha, Qatar.

This concert concludes the cycle in a very dramatic way with Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1, renowned in its clarity and magnificence, and the authoritative and potent Emperor Piano Concerto No. 5. These pieces of work illustrate a development of Beethoven and his self-assurance in the peak of his artistic prowess.

This evening, after the first programme, which introduced Piano Concertos Nos. 2, 4, and 3, the live performance will finish the collection of all five Beethoven piano concertos, which will provide the audience with the whole immersive musical experience.

Rules of Concert Attending

Ticketing & Admission

  • Tickets should be bought online in advance to the event.
  • No exchange or refunds permitted.

  • The process of seating starts 30 minutes before the performance.

 Venue Protocol

  • QPO representatives will help the guests to their respective seats.
  • Cell phones have to be switched off or silenced.
  • Flash photography and video recording is strictly prohibited.
  • The latecomers will only be seated at the right time during proper breaks.
  • One can only re-enter the concert with seats that are close to the exit.
  • No food or drinks should enter the hall (water is allowed)
