Full Event Details/Description:

 Get to know the rich history of Qatar through the North Heritage Tour (6 Hrs) operating between 21 August 2025 and 31 August 2027 and this tour takes place in Al Shamal as it runs daily at 6:00 AM and above. This is an immersive experience that ties the history and heritage of the country by meticulously designed journey into the north of the country.

Explore the historic sites in an air-conditioned 4x4 car on a trip outside of Doha with a guide driver. One of the most important attractions of the tour is the Al Zubarah Fort which is a UNESCO-protected heritage site that serves as the remnant of trading history followed by Qatar in the 18th century. You will also see Thaqab Fort whose unique architecture is a desert construction and explore the abandoned villages of Al Arish and Jumail where old houses and mosques show the story of the ancient settlements in Qatar on the coast.

The trip proceeds to the old mosque at Al Ruwais as part of Qatar Museums and gives one an idea of the cultural and religious background of the country. On the last day, we will have a relaxing sunset rest in Arsan Café where you will be able to appreciate the serene northern landscape.

The tour would involve a pick and drop at your place in Doha, bottled water, and transportation using a 4x4 vehicle. Food and museum entry fees, should there be such, are not included. Comfortable clothing that covers the knees and the elbows is needed.

Reservation is to be done at least 24 hours beforehand. Cancellation 72 hours previous to the tour is eligible to a full refund whereas late cancellations and no-shows are not refunded. The access to the sites might change on the basis of weather or last minute closing.
