 Sparkle your night with orchestra masterworks at Katara Cultural Village Opera House on 14 June 2026 at 7:30 PM with Classic Hits: Sibelius and Saint-Saens. The conductor, Elias Grandy, conducts a very powerful programme that unites passion, power and spectacular virtuosity. The Violin Concerto by Sibelius starts the evening with its very contrasting icy lyricism and burning passion that rises and falls with the help of a young artist Luka Faulisi, whose beautiful audacity makes this classical concerto come to life.

Then, the Symphony No. 3 of Saint-Saevens, named Symphony of organ, is put into the limelight after the break - it is one of the most exciting symphonies ever written. Through its dramatic beginning until its monumental ending, the work progresses to a brilliant climax when the organ comes in full force and is played by Aydan Alakbarova, which is a really unforgettable ending.

Admission: 6 years and more only. Children below the age of 6 are not allowed.

Concert Guidelines

The purchase of tickets has to be carried out beforehand online. There are no exchanges or refunds. The performance starts 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Only during a suitable break, there will be a seat for late arrivals. Telephones should be turned off and no flash or videotaping should be done. Inside the concert hall, no food and beverages are allowed (with an exception of water). The concert does not allow re-entry except on seats close to the exit.

Dress Code: Smart casual. Others are shorts and beachwear which are not allowed.
