RAAG-ANURAAG will be an historic night of Indian classical music in Doha to those who love classical music. The event will be held on 11 April 2026 in Al Thuraya Hall between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM and will be the first Hindustani vocal concert in Qatar in 14 years since world-renowned vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty last entered the country.

Raised by Beats Tunes and Beyond (previously Beats and Tunes), RAAG-ANURAAG guarantees an all-encompassing musical experience, which cites some of the traditional aspects and welcomes the sophisticated modern manifestation. Kaushiki Chakraborty is considered to be one of the most remarkable representatives of Indian classical music nowadays. With a remarkable ability to resonate in a broad voice, accuracy, emotional depth, and sensitivity, she combines tradition and creativity in each of her performances.

Her outstanding career has made her to be recognized internationally, as she has received BBC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music, Global Indian Music Awards, Nari Shakti Puraskar and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award among others. The various awards are indications of her expertise, her efforts, and contributions to the classical music world.

She will be accompanied by a brilliant team of Ojas Adhiya on tabla, Jyotirmoy Banerjee on harmonium and Murad Ali on sarangi - the musicians who add depth and full interaction on stage.
