Viva Bahriya Aquathlon 2023

Multisport is finally returning to The Pearl Island and the QTRI is thrilled to welcome triathletes and enthusiasts to the first-ever aquathlon in the breathtaking surroundings of Viva Bahriya district at The Pearl Island Qatar on December 23, 2003.

So, lace up your running shoes, don your swim gear, and get ready to make a splash in the first-ever Viva Bahriya Aquathlon!

EVENT TIMINGS

• 5:30 am - Race Chips Collection and Transition area OPENS
• 6:15 am - Swim Course Opens for Warm Up
• 6:30 am - Race Chips Collection and Transition area CLOSES
• 6:45 am - Warm Up Ends, Call Up for Race Briefing and Start
• 7:00 am - Main Aquathlon Race (including Para-Aquathlon) START
• The Youth Aquathlon starts 15 minutes after the last swimmer from the main aquathlon race is out of the water.
• 9:30 am - Estimated time of Medal Ceremony

RACE REGISTRATION

• Online Pre-Registration is required to enter the race.
• There will be NO on-site registration on race day.
• REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. REGISTER ONLY WHEN YOU ARE SURE TO ATTEND.
• To prepare the Start List in advance, online registration is open until 12 pm on 15th December.

CATEGORIES (MEN ONLY)

• This race is open for MEN AND BOYS ONLY.
• Maximum Entries: 150 participants.
• Your age on the 31st of December 2023 will be the basis of which age group you will belong.
• A minimum of 5 competing athletes per category is required to award a podium. Categories with lower participation numbers will be combined at the organizer's discretion.
