Event Description:
Lusail International Circuit will once again kick off the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) calendar with the Prologue and Season Opener for 2026. Scheduled from 22 to 28 March 2026, the event includes pre-season testing (Prologue: 22–23 March) and the official Qatar 1812 KM race from 26–28 March. The race is named in honor of Qatar’s National Day and will challenge teams with an endurance test across a 10-hour race on the 5.38km, 16-turn circuit. This will be Qatar’s third consecutive time hosting the championship’s opening round, solidifying its place among the world’s premier racing circuits.
