Whether you're training for marathons or just want to have fun with the community, stop by Education City Run: Colour Edition on Tuesday, 10 February 2026. At the largest and most famous Education City Stadium, this event will start early in the morning at 7:00 AM as a part of Qatar National Sport Day 2026 Series but it is not a race. It is a festival of movement, challenge and intergenerational involvement.

Organisers provided a list that actually includes all the people, a seasoned runner who has to run a personal best race or a parent who has to run alongside their kid as he or she is finding their first starting line. Different distances range between a 100m run among mini-kids (ages 3-6) and a 10K run among adults (17 and above), and 5K, and 2.5K among other categories. All waves are well timed and therefore timing is essential: the 10K and 5K are launched directly at 7:00 AM and then the juniors and mini kids follow.

And the recognition is not lacking either as the best finishers in the male/female categories in all age groups will leave with prizes. Competitive runners will like this organized reward and it will not compromise standards and yet it is not elitist.

The prices vary based on the period of the time: the early bird price (before 31 January) is significantly lower (QAR 100 in the case of adults; QAR 75 in the case of juniors), and the price increases as the race day approaches. Practical fame - the day before the event is the day before the race and bib and T-shirt collection is at the QF office; there will be no race-day pickups. Miss this and you’re left out. Simple.

Real-life test: the participant waiver is straightforward regarding the risks, that running is not risk-free and you will have to certify to be fit and sign the liability agreement. There will be no music players, no bicycles, no dogs on the course, therefore take the soundtrack and pets at home. Registration is final and not refundable.
