Hollywood blockbuster film studio MIRAMAX, majority owned by beIN MEDIA GROUP (“beIN”) has launched its long-awaited action comedy, Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre, from renowned Director, Guy Ritchie, in cinemas around the world, including the Middle East.

In the film with scenes filmed in Qatar’s capital city Doha, super spy Orson Fortune, played by action superstar Jason Statham, must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds, played by British legend Hugh Grant. Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives – Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone – Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star Danny Francesco, played by Josh Hartnett, to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world.

Co-produced by beIN’s MIRAMAX CEO Bill Block and Ivan Atkinson , the film marks the company’s third project with Guy Ritchie after The Gentlemen and Wrath of Man.
