Doha Festival City Launches the Fitness Challenge as part of its Second Series of FFTV

The second Festival Fashion TV "FFTV" challenge, broadcasted on Doha Festival City’s official YouTube, Facebook and IGTV, will kick start its new season by hosting Qatar’s top fitness gurus   

 

This month’ ‘FFTV’ series will feature prominent fitness personalities who will be challenged to shop for a full fitness outfit from the Mall’s myriad of sports outlets


Doha Festival City, Qatar's one and only choice for fashion, will host the second challenge of its exclusive Fashion TV ‘FFTV’ series, dedicated to fitness enthusiasts, on Sunday 6th September at 7pm. Three episodes will be aired on Doha Festival City’s YouTube and IGTV channels, starring Qatar’s most loved fashion and fitness personalities.

For this new editon, Doha Festival City’s ‘FFTV’ invited five prominent fitness figures, namely – Moufdi El Bellaj, Adel Mohammad, Kafa Faoury, Tima Ben Brahim and Abir Malaeb “The Vegan Red Hair”. Each influencer will be challenged to choose the perfect sports outfit from four different brands – NBA, UnderArmour, GO Sport and Tommy Hilfiger.

As part of the challenge, participating influencers will also pay a visit to The Coffee Club where they will have a chance to try the new Smart Eating Menu. The new menu adds healthy options to their à la carte offering and is designed for those who follow a diet or are looking to change their eating habits.

New episodes will be released during three weeks on each Sunday – September 6th, September 13th and September 20th at 7 pm. The new show hosts will share their expertise from the fitness industry and guide the audience on how to pick the most comfortable – and stylish – outfit suitable for all types of fitness.

Previous ‘FFTV’ episodes featured Mexican model and actress Yezenia Navarro, TV presenters Crystal Tannoury and Shaima Al Hammadi, whose challenges were to choose an outfit for different occasions for not more than 500 Qatari Riyals. The all-star guests succeeded with their assignments, demonstrating the variety of offerings at Doha Festival City, catering to all budgets.

 

Commenting on the exclusive Festival Fashion TV ‘FFTV’ fitness series, Robert Hall, General Manager of Doha Festival City said: “FFTV aims at connecting viewers with Doha’s most popular fashion and now sporting figures and their favourite brands. We are happy to start our second edition focused on fitness, and we hope it will not only help our visitors to make a smart choice for their new fitness outfits, but will also encourage them to lead a healthy and active lifestyle”.

 

‘FFTV’ allows shoppers to become real trendsetters, whether they are a student on a budget, a professional looking to revamp their style or a socialite who needs a brand-new closet.

 

Doha Festival City opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to 10 pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10am to 11pm. Children of all ages are now allowed to enter the mall. In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, 127 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
