Old Doha Port, located in the heart of Doha, announces new developments ahead of Eid Al Adha and welcomes the public to join the joyous celebrations at the port.
In celebration of Eid, Old Doha Port will host performances by a maritime traditional band highlighting Qatar’s rich maritime arts and cultural heritage. The band will be located at AlBandar, opposite the fish market (Chabrat Al Mina) daily starting from the first day of Eid until June 19 from 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM. Join us for an evening of charming performances.
In efforts to encourage participation in water sports, Old Doha Port is calling all water enthusiasts to enjoy the beautiful waters with open days for Kayaking and Stand-up Paddle during Eid Al Adha break. Visitors can access Old Doha Port’s waters from the corniche for free daily from the first day of Eid until June 19 from 3:30 PM until 6:30 PM. Remember to bring all the necessary equipment, your own gear, and a mandatory life jacket for a safe and enjoyable experience!
As for your little ones, Old Doha Port always has something special planned for them. This Eid, bring your kids over to Old Doha Port to enjoy the exciting carnival game booths all around Mina District daily from the first day of Eid until June 22 from 5:00 PM until 10:30 PM.
Old Doha Port announces that vehicles now have full access to the port’s Mina District road, where drivers can enjoy a scenic drive through Mina District taking in the beautiful architecture. This unique service will allow cars to drive and park close to their choice of stores and restaurants, ensuring a comfortable visit for our visitors during the summertime. Golf carts are also now available to pick-up and drop-off visitors directly at their specified location within the port free of charge.
In addition to vehicle access at Mina District road, visitors and owners of maritime vessels are now able to utilize the Fishermen’s Slipway free of charge. Located behind Halul Café, The Fishermen’s Slipway has two levels to accommodate maritime vessels of any length and up-to 60 meters in width.
