In partnership with Alfardan Hospitality, a subsidiary of Alfardan Group, that offers a diverse portfolio inclusive of distinctive hotels, restaurants and spas in the region, LaLiga, the organizer of Spain´s world famous football league, has opened a new hospitality sports concept in the heart of Doha: LaLiga TwentyNine’s. This unique, innovative, and multi-sensory experiential space, that offers gastronomy, fun, sports, and technology is located on the 61st and 62nd floor of the Kempinski Residences & Suites, with a breath-taking panoramic view of West Bay, also known as Doha’s business district. Alongside LaLiga TwentyNine’s PortAventura and LaLiga TwentyNine’s Madrid, LaLigaTwentyNine’s Doha is the latest addition to the LaLiga TwentyNine’s family, and the first in the region. Omar Hussain Alfardan, President and CEO of Alfardan Group, assures: "As Qatar proudly hosts the largest and most coveted sports event in the world, LaLiga TwentyNine’s comes as a perfect new addition to our world-class food and beverage, and entertainment offerings through Alfardan Hospitality for fans and beyond. We continuously strive to deliver the most exclusive to Qatar and the region.” Óscar Mayo, Executive Director at LaLiga, said: “Opening this remarkable concept in the heart of Doha with our partner Alfardan Hospitality, is a huge step to reach thousands of fans and tourists travelling through the city. LaLiga TwentyNine’s will mark a turning point in the world of entertainment. We are combining leisure, sports and gastronomy to offer fans in the Middle East and the world a first of its kind experience. The key will be the unique experiences that will be on offer in this reimagined sports hub.” Chef Dani García, a 3-star Michelin chef from Spain, and one of the most highly acclaimed Andalusian chefs in the world, will head the kitchen. The menu, which includes over 30 different dishes, is inspired by Dani García’s hometown and his love for football, with LaLiga-themed dishes such as “ElGranDerbi in one snack”, and “Eat ElClasico everyday”. The menu consists of an array of dishes from blistered padron peppers, classic Spanish omelets, crispy calamares with a hint of garlic oil, and a wide selection of the finest mouthwatering desserts. Dani Garcia, commented: “I am extremely excited that both Alfardan Hospitality and LaLiga have entrusted us to create the menu for this project. When they offered it to us the first thing I thought was how many of us are followers of the best league in the world and how lucky we are to be able to create a menu for a LaLiga restaurant. We have tried to give it that sport hub touch, but with a Spanish soul that both we and LaLiga share, I think it is the beginning of an agreement that will evolve over time, and where we intend to personalize it, creating specific dishes and proposals for significant matches such as derbies or classicos.” This new approach to the traditional sports hub will promote LaLiga and its clubs in the Middle East and will allow sports fans to experience a full range of sports in a unique and experiential way right on time for the biggest event of the year. LaLiga TwentyNine’s takes its name from 1929, the year that LaLiga was created. It combines gastronomy, entertainment, football, and other sports in a unique and interactive environment, with technology playing a key role. Tourists and fans can now enjoy a fresh, fun, and traditional Spanish local experience with all the excitement that comes with it. The concept is equipped with multiple screens where guests can follow live all their favourite sports games and competitions. Furthermore, the restaurant has exposition spaces with LaLiga Santander shirts and memorabilia. It also has a grandstand section where people can sit as a group to watch the best sports in the world and enjoy the other activations. eSports lovers can also enter the eLaLiga zone, where they can challenge other players and enjoy EASPORTS FIFA23. Beyond enjoying ElClasico or the derbies of LaLiga Santander, the space will be open 365 days a year and will provide exclusive offers to fans, helping them to make LaLiga TwentyNine’s a regular meeting point.
