Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 234 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 257 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 121,995. 

Out of the 234 new cases, 215 are community cases and 19 from travellers returning from abroad.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
 

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 125,084 and there are 2875 active cases under treatment. So far, 214 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.

Ministry conducted 4902 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 760,267 tests. There are 49 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total patients in the hospital to 450.

Four patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 52.

While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:
- Adherence to physical distancing.
- Avoid?close contact with others,?crowded places, and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.
- Wearing a face mask.
- Washing hands regularly
