Visitors can enjoy free entry to MOVE alongside sports activations hosted by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Finance
Old Doha Port will mark Qatar National Sports Day on 10 February with a full day of sports, wellness, and family-friendly activities across Mina Park and Terminal Park, reinforcing its role as a vibrant community driven destination that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle.
To celebrate Qatar National Sports Day, the final day of MOVE Sports Festival will offer free entry to the public, from 7:00 AM to 1:30PM, inviting visitors of all ages to take part in fitness sessions, wellness experiences, and outdoor activities in a lively atmosphere.
A key highlight of the day will be a series of family-friendly fitness activations hosted by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education at Mina Park, opposite the Containers Yard, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The activations will span 21 small scale activity zones, featuring football, basketball shooting, table tennis, aerobics, archery, karate, strength training, traditional games, and more. In addition, the Ministry of Finance alongside the General Tax Authority and General Authority of Customs will be hosting their sports day events at the Terminal Park.
Adding to the National Sports Day atmosphere, a small-scale kite festival will take place at Terminal Park, creating a colourful and festive experience for families and children throughout the day.
Through these National Sports Day celebrations and the closing of MOVE, Old Doha Port continues to champion community wellbeing, accessibility to sports, and inclusive outdoor experiences, bringing six days of sports and wellness programming to a dynamic close.
The MOVE sports festival has laid a strong foundation for future sports and community driven events at Old Doha Port. The festival underscored the Qatar National Vision 2030’s Human Development goals by encouraging physical activity, promoting health awareness, and fostering community engagement, reinforcing movement as a way of life for visitors of all ages.
