Old Doha Port transformed into a lively sports hub during this year’s Qatar National Sports Day, attracting families, fitness enthusiasts, and high-profile leaders. The event showcased a variety of sports, wellness activities, and interactive experiences spread across the Port’s scenic open spaces, reinforcing its role as a premier destination for active living and community engagement.
Prominent government figures, including Her Excellency Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport; His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Minister of Environment and Climate Change; and Ms. Sheikha bint Abdulrahman Al Badi, Assistant Undersecretary for National Workforce Affairs at the Ministry of Labor, visited Old Doha Port to join in the festivities.

Additionally, the Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation held national team training sessions throughout the day, providing spectators the unique opportunity to witness elite athletes in action.
