The Dragon Boat Racing Finale 2024, hosted by Old Doha Port, has officially concluded, celebrating the culminaion of Qatar’s dragon boat racing season. This vibrant event brought together over 500 participants and hundreds of spectators in a showcase of teamwork, endurance, and cultural heritage.
Held at Old Doha Port, the full-day event featured exhilarating races and cultural ceremonies that highlighted the spirit of collaboration and perseverance at the heart of dragon boat racing. Teams from Qatar Airways, Doha College, American School of Doha, and PwC Middle East, competed fiercely, showcasing their unity and skill in this dynamic sport.
The competition saw fierce rivalries across various categories, with standout performances from Qatar Airways Aero Dragons, Nefer Racing Dragons, American School of Doha, Onslaught Racing Dragons Qatar, K1 Kasagwan, and Angry Dragons. Each team’s remarkable skill, resilience, and teamwork earned them well-deserved victories, adding to the day’s excitement and celebrating the best of dragon boat racing.
