His Excellency Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library welcomed high-profile delegations from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait to the Library on 29 November.
During the visit, the delegates toured the building and collections and discussed future collaborations, cultural exchanges and enhancing cooperation between Qatar National Library and libraries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait, as well as other cultural institutions.
As part of its mission to preserve the nation's and region's heritage, the Library will continue to invest time and effort into sharing knowledge and empowering future generations across Qatar and beyond.

2018. The Library was granted the status of national library under the Amiri Decree No.11 of 20 March 2018.
