Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), founded by Qatar Foundation (QF), celebrated on National Sport Day (NSD) 2025 this Tuesday with a series of engaging and inclusive career activities at Oxygen Park in Education City.
QCDC's participation in NSD 2025 was marked by a variety of interactive games and exercises designed to promote physical fitness and career development. Attendees of all ages and abilities, along with volunteers from the ‘EmpowerAbility’ program, took part in activities that emphasized teamwork, communication, inclusivity, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Saad Abdulla Al-Kharji, Acting Director of QCDC, commented: "An active lifestyle is integral to achieving career success, as physical well-being is essential in achieving mental well-being, and in turn the ability to excel in the professional life.”
“We are especially proud to collaborate again with volunteers with learning difficulties from the EmpowerAbility program who supported our activations. National Sport Day is a vital platform for showcasing their abilities and promoting career-building skills," he concluded.
It is worth mentioning that throughout 2024, QCDC had launched the "2 Hours of Sport" initiative, a monthly program encouraging staff to engage in various team sports to build team cohesion and maintain a sustained interest in physical activity.

Qatar Career Development Center
Qatar Career Development Center, founded by Qatar Foundation, aims to help the youth, particularly but not restrictedly students, across all Qatar’s education system’s tracks and stages, including the youth with special needs, to identify and fulfil their education and career goals. The center offers them high quality bespoke career development programs, services and activities, seeking to mobilize, educate and support them on how best to make and implement sound career decisions and plans, grow and develop professionally, and achieve their life goals in such ways that best contribute to Qatar’s development and prosperity.
In addition to the youth, Qatar Career Development Center targets a diverse group of individual and organizational stakeholders collectively referred to as the influencers of youth. This group primarily includes career practitioners and human capital professionals, academic advisors and administrators, parents and policy makers. The center engages them in various initiatives, projects and programs whose purpose is to educate, empower and support them in relation to their highly vital role as shapers and even definers of the youth’s future.
