Taking place at Education City on 19-20 April 2025, the summit will showcase inspiring stories and innovative ideas in the Arabic language
Arabic speakers from Qatar, the region, and throughout the world are being invited to experience the inaugural summit of Qatar Foundation’s BilAraby initiative – which is dedicated to amplifying voices and ideas in the Arabic language – with ticketing now open.
The summit will take place from 19-20 April 2025 at Multaqa (Education City Student Center) in Doha, offering more than 20 live lectures and 12 workshops exploring fields such as sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, medicine, programming, arts, the Arabic language, and space exploration. It will also host exploratory sessions and panel discussions focused on developing Arabic content and promoting innovation in the Arabic language, as well as interactive spaces in collaboration with 10 partners from across the Arab world.

The summit’s interactive environment will offer direct networking opportunities across more than 10 innovative pavilions, where visitors can join live meetings with speakers and leading organizations in the field of innovation.
Meanwhile, BilAraby has announced the lineup of speakers for the summit, including Abdul Rahman Sayidi from Mauritania, who will discuss how time can save people in a lecture titled ‘The Rhythm of Work... in Harmony with the Rhythm of Existence’; and Dr. Amida Shaalan from Yemen, who will take participants on a journey through ‘Inscriptions and Artifacts’.
Lina Al-Thakir from Saudi Arabia will explore how she has developed a digital game that promotes the Arabic language in her lecture, ‘A Game to Save Arabic’, while Amer Darwish from Palestine will speak about how to "Spark Inspiration from Refugee Camps".
Muhannad Rajab Al-Dabi from Sudan will highlight ‘How Books Became Entry Tickets to Events’, while Diana Al-Sindi, an Iraqi American, will discuss ‘How to Bring Space Closer’. Sumaya Al-Maimani, from Kuwait and India, will discuss her ‘Two Dinars’ initiative and how she hopes it can contribute to a better world, with Dr. Laith Alawneh from Jordan speaking about ‘The Medical Knowledge Revolution in Arabic’.
Dr. Abdul Wahid Zainal from Qatar will discuss ‘How the Youngsters Can Become Technology Developers, not Consumers’; Salam Katanani from Jordan will speak about why ‘Reality is Just an Illusion’; Razan Zuaiter from Palestine will focus on ‘The Green Resistance Revolution’; and Taimur Al-Hadidi from Egypt will demonstrate how to ‘Turn Waste into Architectural Masterpieces’.
And Baraa Al-Sarraj from Syria will share his inspiring story, ‘From the Darkness of Prison to the Light of Knowledge’," while Shawk Al-Alawi from Bahrain will explore ‘The Identity of Professions’.
