Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), the leading Islamic financial institution in Qatar, has awarded cash prizes of QAR 8.5 Million to over 550 winners in the ongoing 6th edition of the Misk Savings Account. With the 6th edition of Misk running until November 2023, QIB promotes beneficial financial practices and encourage consistent savings habits among its customers. Moreover, the much-awaited announcement of the next millionaire for this edition is scheduled for August 2023.

The Misk Savings Account, an innovative savings program introduced by QIB, has gained significant popularity for its unique features and unmatched benefits. With the largest prize pool in Qatar, totalling QAR 14,200,000 Million, this initiative is set to award over 800 winners throughout 2023, including four customers who will become millionaires.

QIB demonstrates its dedication to financial empowerment and customer satisfaction through the diverse range of prizes offered with the Misk Savings Account. Every three months, one lucky individual wins one million Qatari Riyals, while 15 winners are awarded QAR 10,000 each week. Additionally, four winners are eligible to receive a monthly prize of QAR 50,000.

Since the launch of the 6th edition of the Misk Account, QIB has celebrated the success of numerous account holders. A total of 525 weekly winners have been awarded prizes worth QAR 5,250,000 million, while 28 monthly winners have received prizes worth QAR 1,400,000. Moreover, two individuals have received life-changing rewards of QAR 1 million each. These accomplishments have brought the total number of winners announced thus far to over 500.

Both existing and new QIB customers have the convenient option to open a Misk Account through either the QIB Mobile App or any of QIB’s branches. By doing so, they receive a complimentary debit card and become eligible to request a free credit card for the first year, which will be linked to their Misk Account balance. Additionally, they can earn profits on their savings and stand a chance to win exciting cash prizes on a regular basis.

To be eligible for the draws, customers must open the account three months prior to the draw date and maintain a minimum monthly balance of QAR 10,000. For every additional QAR 10,000 saved, the customer has one additional chance to win.
