New York based company LDV Hospitality has opened it’s famed Italian dining concept, Scarpetta, at the newly opened luxurious resort Waldorf Astoria in Lusail, Doha.

Waldorf Astoria Lusail, one of Hilton’s luxury brands of iconic hotels is committed to personal service and culinary excellence through offering luxury restaurants and has now added Scarpetta to its extensive list of dining experiences. Set across a pristine beachfront, the sophisticated resort provides amenities that make for an unforgettable experience.

Led by the creative vision of founder and president John Meadow since 2008 in the buzzing city of New York City, Scarpetta continues to create memorable culinary experiences taking its inspiration from iconic, classic moments of old-world hospitality and adapting them to modern social life.

At the celebratory event held on February 27th 2023 to mark its grand opening, members of the media, notable influencers, and culinary enthusiasts had the opportunity to experience the luxurious and sophisticated ambiance of Scarpetta's new location and unparalleled dining experience. “We're thrilled to bring Scarpetta's contemporary Italian dining experience to the new Waldorf Astoria Lusail in Doha. The new Scarpetta at Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha is designed by David Collins Studio, who put their heart and soul into reinterpreting traditional Italianate architectural details with a mid-century twist.  The design features a contemporary interpretation of Italian architecture, through use of Palladiana flooring, coloured marbles, and travertine columns influenced by the brand’s Italian cuisine. The venue boasts an effortlessly chic dinner setting that brings LDV’s mission of La Dolce Vita to life with their indoor and al fresco dining venues, an extensive cigar lounge, private dining and a walk-in humidor. 

The philosophy of Scarpetta’s kitchen is to create bold flavors by amplifying the essence of seasonal ingredients. Their signature dishes, primarily their delectable pastas are prepared in-house daily using only the best, locally sourced ingredients. Scarpetta’s most popular Spaghetti Tomato & Basil is nothing short of classic simplicity in both taste and preparation. The Italian hotspot also offers a variety of mouthwatering starters and signature mocktails which are not to miss.
