The visit took place as part of the Ministry’s program to inspect the schools’ compliance of Covid-19 precautionary measures
The Hamilton International School part of International Schools Partnership (ISP), welcomed His Excellency Dr Mohammad bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Higher Education for an official visit to the school this week.
With the main purpose of checking the precautionary measures taken by The Hamilton International School, the comprehensive inspection focused on the school’s infrastructure and the measures of protection that have been put in place to protect students, teachers, and staff in preventing the spread of Covid-19.
The school has enhanced its health and safety policies to be in line with guidelines issued by MOEHE, as well they have incorporated best practise from ISP schools around the world. Some of these measures include but are not limited to : Social distancing in classrooms, Masks being worn at all times, Stickers on the floors reminding students to remain at a safe distance, Stickers on the walls to remind them about proper sanitizing techniques and instillation of a thermal camera to detect fevers. During his visit, Dr Al Hammadi spoke of the positive measures the school had undertaken to date and discussed the continued emphasis that the school would place on maintaining a healthy and safe school environment for the entire community.
Furthermore, His Excellency Dr Mohammad bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi checked the educational process of the students at The Hamilton International School.
The official visit was also attended by key government personnel, including Omar Al-Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs; Rashid AlAmri, Acting Director of Private Schools Affairs Department; as well as Mr. Ali AlFardan.
