Vodafone Qatar P.Q.S.C. (“Vodafone Qatar” or the “Company”) announced its consolidated financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, delivering a strong first half and continued growth across its key financial and operational metrics.
Key highlights - H1 2026 compared to H1 2025:
- Total Revenue increased by 3.1% to QR 1.80 billion
- Service Revenue increased by 9.3% to QR 1.59 billion
- EBITDA increased by 10.6% to QR 810 million
- EBITDA margin expanded by 3.1ppts to 44.9%
- Net Profit increased by 22.0% to QR 401 million
- Net Profit margin grew by 3.5ppts reaching 22.3%
- Total Mobile customers stood at 2.1 million subscribers
Financial Summary
The Company reported a half-year net profit of QR 401 million, representing a sustained increase of 22% year-on-year. This strong performance was driven by continued growth across the Company’s core business lines, including mobility, managed services, fixed broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), and wholesale, supported by disciplined cost management and robust cash generation.
Total revenue for the period increased by 3.1% year-on-year to QR 1.8 billion. Service revenue grew by 9.3% to QR 1.59 billion. Vodafone Qatar is now serving 2.1 million mobile customers, representing an increase of 0.8% year-on-year.
EBITDA for the period increased by 10.6% year-on-year to QR 810 million, positively impacted by strong service revenue and the continued effectiveness in implementing the Company’s cost optimisation programme. As a result, EBITDA margin improved by 3.1ppts to 44.9%. Excluding equipment, underlying EBITDA margin reached 49.3%.
The Company generated robust operating free cash flow of QR 344 million in the first half of the year. Net Profit margin increased to 22.3%, up by 3.5ppts compared to H1 FY2025. This performance translated into an annualised return on equity (ROE) of 14.9% in H1 2026, reflecting a 1.3ppts increase compared to FY 2025. This result underscores the Company’s continued commitment to delivering sustainable value to its shareholders.
