Students will distribute informative leaflets to all food outlets within the mall, reinforcing the significance of adhering to food safety regulations.

Commenting on the World Food Safety Day activities, Robert Hall, Doha Festival City's General Manager, expressed his enthusiasm, stating: "We are thrilled to join hands with the Municipality team and Monoprix in celebrating World Food Safety Day at Doha Festival City. This event not only highlights the importance of food safety but also provides a platform for education and awareness among our visitors. Initiatives like these play a crucial role in promoting responsible food practices and ensuring the well-being of our community. We invite everyone to join us in this unique celebration and take valuable insights back home."

Doha Festival City is committed to upholding food safety standards through its innovative food waste segregation program. With the participation of over 80 fast food and dining outlets, the mall collects and recycles food waste using advanced in-house food digester machines. This sustainable approach not only diverts organic waste from landfills but also generates valuable compost that is utilized for landscaping purposes. By actively engaging in waste reduction and recycling efforts, Doha Festival City demonstrates its commitment to creating a safe and environmentally conscious food ecosystem for both its visitors and the community at large.
