Participants were able to share their creations on Instagram with the hashtags #HomewareFestival2023 #UnleashyourInnerDesigner and #DohaFestivalCity. Three lucky winners were selected during the closing ceremony on 18th March, based on the number of likes and comments they garnered.
Another key highlight of the event was the partnership with Qatar Tourism’s Shop Qatar program; giving visitors to the festival a chance to win weekly prizes and the grand prize for every minimum spend of QAR 200 at participating outlets. At Doha Festival City, all 461 outlets available participated in the Shop Qatar program, giving them a chance to win with every purchase and engaging them and their families with various activities and performances on weekend afternoons and evenings.
The Shop Qatar partnership culminated in a splendid closing ceremony held at the mall’s Luxury Area with a mega Raffle Draw of multiple prizes, which attracted massive crowds with a festive parade. The ceremony concluded with an immersive confetti drop as the 10 final winners were announced, including the grand prize winner of a studio at the Pearl Qatar worth QAR 2 Million.
