Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 243 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 226 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 133,010.

Out of the 243 new cases, 188 are community cases and 55 from travellers returning from abroad.

Ministry also announced one death - aged 28 - who was receiving the necessary medical care.

So far, 235 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
