Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading digital bank, announced the launch “Double your Points” Ramadan campaign for its credit and charge cardholders. The new campaign, valid until 20 April, offers customers double rewards on all their local and international spends at supermarkets such as Al Meera, Lulu, Carrefour, Monoprix using their Visa and Mastercard credit cards and charge cards, as well as the bank’s cobranded cards with Qatar Airways.

During the campaign’s duration, customers can double their points, in the form of Absher points when using their credit and charge cards, or Avios when using the QIB-Qatar Airways co-branded cards. To double the points, the minimum of each transaction should be equal to or more than QAR 1,000 with local and international supermarkets at any POS, including online local or international purchases. The maximum loyalty points customers can receive is 25,000 points per customer which will be credited by the end of May 2023 in the customer’s respective Absher or Avios accounts.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, supermarkets witness high usage for personal and family consumption or for charity for the less fortunate.  QIB rewards its valuable customers on all their supermarket spends with a spirit of giving back to the community.

Commenting on the launch of the new campaign, Mr. D. Anand, QIB’s General Manager – Personal Banking Group said: “We are pleased to be once again sharing with the community the spirit of giving in the month of generosity.
