Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar’s leading digital bank, has collaborated with Aman Hospital to organize an awareness initiative for its employees on the occasion of World Diabetes Day.

Throughout the day, Aman Hospital staff conducted blood glucose and blood pressure screenings, as well as Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments to provide a well-rounded health profile to each employee. Additionally, hospital’s dietitians engaged with the employees in one-on-one consultations, offering personalized advices on managing diabetes risks, balanced diets, and lifestyle adjustments.

In addition, QIB utilized its social media platforms to initiate a series of engaging stories to educate the community about diabetes and highlight the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices.

Mashaal Abdulaziz Al Derham, Assistant General Manager, Head of Corporate Communications & Quality Assurance at QIB, said: “We are committed to supporting our employees by fostering health awareness and encouraging a proactive approach to well-being. With diabetes posing a significant health challenge, we feel a responsibility to champion programs that promote prevention and elevate public health. We would like to thank Aman Hospital for their valuable collaboration and their efforts in advancing impactful health initiatives.”

This initiative is a testament to QIB’s CSR strategy aligned with Qatar’s National Vision (QNV) 2030, recognizing the importance of healthcare provision and the improvement of the overall health of the population.
