Vodafone Qatar’s retail team has recently completed sign-language training with Qatar University, as part of its Learning and Development, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.


Through its long-term collaborations with the university, Vodafone Qatar enrolled in a 2 week training program, and learnt the basic foundations of sign language, as well as customer service related signs, to further support its customers with special needs, and help its employees to manage basic conversations.

The company previously took part in sign language training delivered by the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs in 2019 and continues to ensure that retail advisors are poised to communicate using sign language.
