W Doha Hotel & Residences, the first hotel in Qatar to be certified by the “Qatar Clean” Programme, celebrates its one-year anniversary of adhering to the programme. Qatar Clean is a key initiative launched by Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and is a true testament to QNTC’s key role in supporting the local hospitality sector throughout the pandemic while ensuring that people living in Qatar can still enjoy award winning hospitality and world class offerings with their safety assured.

Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) marks a milestone in its Qatar Clean programme, with 100% of QNTC-licensed hotels now “Qatar Clean” certified.  Launched in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) in June 2020, QNTC’s Qatar Clean initiative introduces expert protocols for hygiene and cleanliness and follows strict sterilization and disinfection practices applied to hotels and restaurants across the country.
